Chairman of the UK Fire-Fighters Sailing Challenge, Mick Stead, presented Dame Ellen MacArthur with a cheque for £2,000 as a donation to her Trust.

This year the challenge involved 23 yachts, crewed by serving and ex fire-fighters, racing in the Solent for 3 days, to raise the cash.

The UK Fire-Fighters Sailing Challenge has recently completed its fourth year of fund-raising.
