Fish n ships


Fish stocks around the world are in serious decline and some fear there could be no fish left to eat by 2050. But now scientists have discovered that trawlermen who share their catches are going someway to help ease the problem.

Fishermen in New Zealand, Australia and Iceland have been working the new system with great success.

Scientists believe it encourages trawlermen to take a vested interest in fish stocks for future fishermen.
